'MLA' mops up impressive collections

'MLA', starring Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Kajal Aggarwal, has reportedly collected Rs. 2.45 crore on its first day in terms of share in the Telugu States. Nizam's Rs. 70 lacs is the best score.
In terms of gross (worldwide), the film is said to have made Rs. 5.20 crore.
As per the makers, the film's entertainment quotient is wowing the audience. In his interview to IndiaGlitz, director Upendra Madhav has said that he is glad that people are comparing 'MLA' with Sreenu Vaitla's comedies and 'Srimantudu' at once. I once heard Koratala Shiva garu say that people will definitely watch if you tell a story with honesty. That's what I have done, the director says.
Ravi Kishan, Brahmanandam, Prudhviraj, JP Reddy and others are part of the cast.
