Jyothika's 'Magalir Mattum' directed by Bramma released last week in theatres to an overwhelming response especially among the female populace. Compliments have been pouring in for the women-centric film both actors and politicians as well.

K.Balabharathi, MLA belonging to the Communist Party of India (Marxist) have also expressed her appreciation for 'Magalir Mattum' recently in her social media. "My congratulations for the 'Magalir Mattum' and its director Bramma. Like every woman who watched it, I also enjoyed 'Magalir Mattum'. The film has portrayed the feminist ideas in an interesting and understandable way. 'Magalir Mattum' is a good movie with a good message," Balabharathi said.

It is yet another feather in the cap for the 'Magalir Mattum' team to receive commendation from K. Balabharathi MLA who is known for her strong feminist ideology.
