Manjinder Singh Sirsa, an MLA from New Delhi, is from the Shiromani Akali Dal. He has lodged a complaint against Shah Rukh Khan, Anand L Rai (director) and producer (Gauri Khan) because he feels a poster of 'Zero' hurts the Sikh sentiments.

"Shame on Shah Rukh Khan on devaluing the Sikh Kakaar and hurting Sikh sentiments by showing the Kirpaan as a show-off ordinary dagger. Kirpaan can only be worn by a Khalsa, a pure human being. I demand that SRK and the film producer Gauri Khan immediately withdraw this poster," Sirsa said on Monday.

He has penned a letter to SRK and others associated with the movie against the "objectionable scene and poster showing Kirpaan as an ordinary dagger."

The Hindi film, whose Trailer was released recently, will release on December 21.
