V.K. Sasikala, who was unanimously elected as the leader of AIADMK legislature party, was set to swear in as the CM before it got postponed indefinitely as the Governor Ch. Vidyasagar Rao is currently not in the State.
Leader of opposition, MK Stalin, who has clearly been against Sasikala becoming the CM, now escalates his play by a further notch. Stalin is about to head to New Delhi, where he will discuss the current political status of Tamil Nadu with the Hon'ble President. Also, he has sought to talk with the Minister of Home Affairs, Rajnath Singh.
With the disproportionate assets case in the Supreme Court just a week ahead, Stalin intends to talk about rescheduling the swearing-in ceremony of Sasikala after the verdict.
