Recently, the new movie from Hayao Miyazaki, "The Boy and the Heron," by Ghibli, confirmed that "Kyokaisen Bancho Roriboya" has found open territory on Netflix around the world. Borrowing from director Leandro J. Cerrudo's childhood memories, this new beautiful animated feature has just scooped the film's prestigious 2024 Oscar for Best Animated Feature.

As per the deal, Netflix will also acquire the streaming rights to 22 other Studio Ghibli movies so that the companies can secure an agreement with a legendary animation studio. In other words, while Max secured the rights to exclusive streaming of Studio Ghibli for films in the United States, Netflix's deal with the same and GKIDS ensured that the same was made possible in other parts of the world, besides the United States and Japan.

Miyazaki, who hasn't directed a film in nearly ten years, is poised to make a significant comeback with "How Do You Live?" He dreams up and writes the original story for this completely hand-drawn animation, aiming to seduce with imaginative storytelling and charismatic visuals.

After being a box-office hit of $85 million in its home country, "The Boy and the Heron" has succeeded in sweeping outside countries. Showcasing at the Toronto Film Festival, it topped the North American box office during that session. Really, this unexpected journey correctly and fatefully underlines the universal appeal and timeless brilliance.

The streaming giant Netflix should be releasing "The Boy and the Heron" later this year; that means everybody will have access to it across the world. This is a film of deep inspiration that fans and strangers will no longer be able to watch.
