Disco dancer and veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty has new plans in his career line. Mithun's son Mahaakshay recently opened up saying that his dad wants to direct a film in the future and he might star in the movie.

Mahaakshay was present at the Christmas Garage Sale, a charity event organised by his 'Ishqedarriyaan' with co-actor Evelyn Sharma. Then he said, "Dad is not paying much attention to direction right now. He is busy with his TV shows and with his own films. But he has told me that when the time comes, he'll definitely direct." He also added, "I think now it's too early (to talk about it) because I still have to strengthen the foundation of Mimoh or Mahaakshay. So when the right time comes, definitely with all your good wishes, dad will direct me."

Mahaakshay made his debut with the movie 'Jimmy' as an action hero he was later seen in Bengali film like 'Rocky' and Hindi film 'Haunted'. With 'Ishqedarriyaan', he will be seen as an action hero and he also plans to return to action with his next untitled film.
