Bollywood icon Mithun Chakraborty is a familiar face to Telugu audiences, and his memorable appearance in the Venkatesh-Pawan Kalyan starrer 'Gopala Gopala' continues to garner admiration years after its release. Now, his son, Mimoh Chakraborty, is poised to make his mark in Telugu cinema with the crime drama 'Nenekkadunna,' a film written and directed by the talented Madhav Kodad. The film is slated for a grand release on 17 November 2023.

Sasha Chettri takes on the role of the female lead in this enthralling gangster saga, which revolves around the kidnapping of a fearless freelance journalist named Jhansi. The film is being presented by KBR and produced by Maruthi Shyam Prasad Reddy under the banner of Ajagava Arts.

The film boasts an ensemble cast featuring prominent actors like Murali Sharma, Mahesh Manjrekar, Pradeep Rawat, Abhimanyu Singh, Bramhanandam, Tanikella Bharani, Posani, Rahul Dev, Milind Gunaji, Sayaji Shinde, and Mihirah in pivotal roles. Mimoh, who made his debut in the 2008 film 'Jimmy,' was recently seen in the short film 'Ab Mujhe Udna Ha.'

'Nenekkadunna' was shot in picturesque locations across Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru, promising a visually extravagant cinematic experience. Jayapal Nimmala skillfully handles the camera work, while Shekar Chandra has composed the film's music. The first look and teaser of the film received an excellent response, and Mimoh is placing his hopes on this debut project in Tollywood.

Mimoh candidly discussed the pressure that comes with being Mithun's son, acknowledging that his brother Namashi is currently experiencing similar challenges with his upcoming film. He emphasized the immense legacy that his father carries, a testament to Mithun's unwavering dedication to his craft.

In response to criticism faced by star kids, Mimoh stressed that they don't seek to exploit their family's industry connections. He emphasized that he, like his father, believes in earning opportunities through hard work rather than relying on privilege. He also acknowledged the individual struggles his brother and he face as they carve out their own paths in the industry, determined to prove themselves on their own merit.
