"When it rains sh*t, only an ass can save you," says the irreverent Teaser for 'Mithai'. Rahul Ramakrishna comes on a donkey even as Priyadarshi mockingly says that good days are coming. He makes sure to use the term 'Acche Din', a politically loaded term in the Modi era. Rahul, playing a quirky character, escapes from the scene helter skelter as the camera is close. Wonder what it is all about.

Director Prashant Kumar, a debutant, is making this as a dark comedy.

"Sai, a day-dreamer, is fired from his job for dreaming at the workplace. He finds himself in a situation wherein he must find a thief in three days to get married. He embarks upon an adventurous, hilarious roller-coaster ride with his friend Jani and one of the suspects they meet, the dude, along with his goat Sundari on Sai’s hereditary car Sheru. Who is the thief and will he ever find him? Will he get married? That's the rest of the film," the director says, talking about the subject.

Pullikonda, Kamal Kamaraju, Bhushan Kalyan, Ravi Varma, Ajay Ghosh, Arsha, Swetaa Varma, Aditi Myakal, Vijay Marur, Gayathri Gupta are playing other roles in the movie.

The film has music by Vivek Sagar, and cinematography by Ravivarman Neelamegam. Editing is by Garry BH, while lyrics are by Kittu Vissapragada. Dialogues have been penned jointly by Prashant Kumar and B.Naresh.

It releases on February 22.
