Prabhas is often called the first pan Indian filmstar. He achieved the title by starring in widely popular 'Bahubali' franchise. The actor has quite a few interesting projects coming but recently, there were rumors about him bagging a role in a prominent Hollywood franchise. A social media post went viral recently which suggested that Prabhas has been roped in for an important role in the next edition of 'Mission Impossible' film series.

Although, this would've been a big deal for Prabhas and his fandom but the news, simply, isn't true. Mission Impossible director Christopher McQuarrie himself has denied this on Twitter. A fan asked the director, "@chrismcquarrie there is a viral news trending on Indian news channels that an Indian actor named Prabhas has been roped in 'MI7' for a key role. Can you please confirm whether it is true or not?"

McQuarrie answered in a simple straightforward fashion. He wrote, ""While he‘s a very talented man, we’ve never met. Welcome to the internet."
