Christopher McQuarrie, the American writer-director-producer, is currently working on 'Mission Impossible 7'. A few unconfirmed reports have claimed that the pan-India sensation Prabhas has been approached for a role in the film.

Today, a Twitter user brought the rumour to the notice of McQuarrie. He wrote, "There is a viral news trending on Indian news channels that an Indian actor named Prabhas has been roped in MI7 for a key role. Can you please confirm whether it is true or not?"

Responding to the question, the Hollywood filmmaker made it clear that he hasn't even met the 'Saaho' actor. "While he‘s a very talented man, we’ve never met," he wrote.

Known for 'Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation', 'Mission: Impossible – Fallout', 'The Way of the Gun', and 'Jack Reacher', McQuarrie is a frequent collaborator with Tom Cruise.

Prabhas will next be seen in 'Radhe Shyam'. Starring Pooja Hegde as the heroine, the film is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar.
