Mission 90 Days - Major Ravi’s interpretation of the Rajiv Gandhi assassination, started showing today at 51 centres across the state.

The film with Mammootty in the lead witnessed big crowds in the release centres and first reports suggests it as another big hit.

The distributors were able to fetch some for the best centre in major cities, as it opened in two centres in major cities.

The film is a slice of real life of Major Ravi, as he was part of the NSG commando team that tried to catch the principal accused of Rajiv Gandhi assassination, Sivarasan alive.

Mammootty plays Major Sivaraman, an NSG commando and investigation officer in the film while Sreejith Ravi plays Sivarasan and Maria is Nalini.

The film cinematographed by Thiru and edited by Jayashankar, also has a song by Jaison J Nair.
