He is a man who doesn't easily give up or accept defeat. He, in his career in the armed forces, has always successfully completed what ever assignment given to him. That's Major Sivaraman, a daring NSG Commando Officer. A tough guy who has little patience with imbeciles.
One day the Prime Minister of the nation gets killed. The whole nation is shell-shocked. Little is known about who did the crime as none of the terrorist organizations officially claimed this as their deed .The newly appointed Prime Minister appoints a high-level police team and armed national security guards with Sivaraman as head to crack into the case, and was given 90 days for the accomplishment of the mission. And now he is on a Herculean task and he has to work day and night to grill the culprits within the given time frame. The film focuses on the tension and difficulties faced by him during the meantime. This is the plot of the major Ravi's new film Mission 90 days.
Mission 90 Days has Mammootty donning the military uniform after a fairly long interval, the last instance being in Pattalam directed by Lal Jose. This second directorial venture of Major Ravi after the super hit Keerthichakra is based on the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi.
Being a part of the armed forces has given Major Ravi a lot of experiences, some of which, he stored to make it public through his films .He has made a brilliant one, showcasing his experiences in Kashmir in Keerthichakra and now in Mission 90 days, he will unfold his personal pressures, when he was a part of the commando group which was appointed to find the killers of Rajiv Gandhi. So Mission 90 days is another story with flesh and blood.
Sreejith Ravi plays Shivarasan while Mariya is Nalini in the film. Tulip Joshy appears in the female lead of the film. The others in the cast include Innocent, Salimkumar, Fareedha, Baburaaj, Kiran Raan and Kalshaala Babu. The music department of the film will be handled by Vayalar Sharth and Jaison J Nair. Thiru wields the camera while Jayashankar does the editing. The film is produced by Sahi Ayyanchira in the banner of Sree Uthrittathy films. Mission 90 days which was completed in just 29 days is expected to reach the release centers by the second week of July.
