Sandeep Thottapilly and his family were travelling from Portland to Los Angeles when their car reportedly veered off into a river due to strong rain and wind. The incident happened on April 6.
But on Friday, a woman’s body has been found in North California river and authorities are suspecting that the body might be the mother Soumya (38)from missing Indian-American family. The body was found seven miles of the spot where the Thottapilly family reportedly crashed into the river.
An autopsy will be conducted by early next week which is expected to throw light on the subject much more. As of now, rescue workers are engaged in locating the car and other occupants who went missing.
