'Miss Sunshine' proves Hanu's calibre

If the music of 'Miss Sunshine' bears testimony to Mani Sharma's top-notch talent, the way the duet has been visualized and picturized brings out Hanu Raghavapudi's stellar directorial skills.

Released on Saturday, the one-minute video of the lilting number presents an ever-so-more-confident Nithiin romancing debutante Megha Akash. Surely, the foreign locations have been thoroughly explored, moving away from the usual high-rise buildings, etc that we get to see in Telugu cinema's "lavish" songs. Krishnakanth's soothing lyrics only elevate the experience.

The jury is still out on whether Megha Akash can be a Lavanya Tripathi or a Mehreen. For now, the August 11th release has a promise in store.

Shot extensively in the US, the action-romantic-drama is coming from the stable of 14 Reels Entertainment.
