The trailer of 'Miss India' is out. Directed by Narendra Nath, the Keerthy Suresh starrer will stream on Netflix from November 4.
The trailer shows the 'Mahanati' actress as a middle-class girl whose only dream is to be a self-made businesswoman. As an NRI in the US, she stumbles upon the idea of selling Indian Chai overseas and making it big. Naveen Chandra seems to be her collaborator, Rajendra Prasad and VK Naresh are her pillars of support, while Nadhiya seems to be her mother having misgivings about her ability to make it big in the business world.
Jagapathi Babu plays the quintessential anti-hero (or anti-heroine, in this case), who tries to put the rising star down. Amid all this, Miss India is touted to be a brand that has to be seen as a metaphor rather than literally.
Also featuring Kamal Kamaraju, Bhanusree Mehra, Poojitha Ponnada and others, the drama has music by SS Thaman. Cinematography is by Dani Sanchez-Lopez and Vamsi P.
