Recently, Nani and Sudheer Babu’s V, an Indraganti Mohankrishna directorial, is sold for Rs 32 crores to Amazon Prime Video. And now, another two big films have also been sold to OTTs.
Keerthy Suresh’s upcoming film Miss India has also been sold to Netflix for a good amount and the official streaming date will be announced soon by the makers. Directed by Narendranth, the film is produced by Mahesh S Koneru under East Coast Productions.
A source reports, “Mahesh Koneru has been looking for a perfect deal to sell the film. And finally, he has got the right one. Soon, the film will release on Netflix.”
On the other hand, Sai Dharam Tej’s Solo Brathuke So Better, which is directed by Subbu and produced by BVSN Prasad, is said to have been sold to Zee. Satellite, theatrical and digital rights of the film have been sold to Zee. Sow whether to release it on Zee5 or in the theatres, it is up to them.
At the same time, it is said that directors and actors are requesting producers to wait till the theatres open. Well, let us see what would happen.
