Misled by baba, parents torture daughter to death

In Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad, a malnourished girl named Tara was affected by rickets. Her parents were saddened by their daughter's poor health condition. They approached a Tantrik, who asked them to kill their daughter off so that they will be blessed with a healthy child in future!
This mind-numbing incident has come to light because the murdered Tara's neighbours complained to the police on suspicion. When the autopsy report came, the local population was shocked upon hearing the inhuman way in which Tara was murdered by her own parents.
The ill-fated girl child was deprived of food for five days. She eventually died of suffocation. Her mother insisted that she be buried on the premises of their residence.
