Actor Brahma Mishra, a cast member of the Amazon Prime show 'Mirzapur' has unfortunately passed away at his apartment in Mumbai. The actor was known for playing Munna Bhaiya's friend Lalit in the popular crime thriller 'Mirzapur'. Reports suggest that he had visited a doctor on 29th of November regarding pain in his chest and he was sent home after his diagnosis.

Brahma was found dead in the bathroom of his rented apartment where he used to live alone since last four years. Apparently, neighbours informed the police when they noticed a foul smell coming from his apartment. Police breached the door and entered the apartment to find Brahma's body in semi decomposed state in his bathroom. Investigation has started and heart attack is being specualated as the cause of death as of now.

Actor Divyendu Sharma who played Munna Bhaiya in 'Mirzapur' shared a picture of the deceased actor and wrote, "RIP Brahma Mishra. Our Lalit is no more. Let’s pray for him everyone." Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment also expressed condolances as they wrote, "We are deeply saddened by the untimely demise of #BramhswaroopMishra. Our condolences are with his family and friends. May he rest in peace."
