After the success of 'Eetti', S. Michael Rayappan's Global Infotainment production is back with 'Miruthan' whcih is touted as Tamil cinema's first zombie movie. The film stars Jayam Ravi and Lakshmi Menon in the lead roles. Shakti Soundar Rajan of 'Nanayam' and 'Naaigal Jaakkiradhai' fame has written and directed this film. has Kaali Venkat,R. N. R. Manohar, Jeeva Ravi,Baby Anikha and Amit Bhargav in the cast
D.Imman has composed music for the film. All the songs have been penned by Madhan Karky have been well received by the audience. Especially the 'Munnal Kadhali' song has been well appreciated by critics and music lovers for its tune and positive lyrics. S. Venkatesh is the cinematographer.
The film's running time will be 1 hour and 48 Minutes. The film will have just two songs. 'Miruthan' received A certificate by the Censor officials by the team has taken the film to the Review committee in Mumbai and have revised the rating as U/A.
