The producers of Mirchi have announced that everything on the post-production front is almost done and that the film will be submitted to the Censor Board very soon. "We have made the film without compromising anywhere. Koratala Shiva (writer-turned-director) has made the film with high technical values."

They further say that will hit the marquee in a higher number of theatres than has any Prabhas film seen in the past.

Anushka and Richa Gangopadhyaya are the heroines. Sathya Raj, Nadia, Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu, Sathyam Rajesh, Srinivasa Reddy, Sampath Kumar and Adithya Menon are part of the cast.
