Producer C.V.Kumar who has given many memorable films as well as super hits, including the recent time travel oriented flick Indru Netru Naalai` under his Thirukumaran Entertainments banner has launched a new film titled 144`.

The first look poster of this film has been launched with the announcement of the film. The film will have Ashok Selvan of Thegidi` fame in the lead role and Munishkanth, Oviya and Shruthi in important roles. Actor Mirchi` Shiva who was missing from Tamil screens after a mixed bag of hits and flops in 2013 is making a comeback with this film as one of the lead heroes. .

The film will be directed by Manikandan a debutante and music director Sean Roldon who was missing after working in Vaayai Moodi Pesavum` and Mundasupatti` last years is making a comeback with this film. Cinematography will be taken care by Gurudev while Editing is handed over to Leo,John Paul Art direction has been undertaken by Gopi Anand.

The film is being co-produced by Abinesh Elangovan of Abi & Abi banner.
