Mirchi Siva has become a dad as his wife Priya gave birth to a son today at the Apollo Hospitals in Chennai.  Sources have informed that both the mother and the boy are in prime health condition and the little one has been named Agasthya.  Siva married Priya in 2012 in a high profile wedding attended by Thala Ajith and Shalini.  Priya is a badminton player and has been the doubles pair of Shalini in many tournaments as well.

On the professional front Siva is awaiting the release of the multi starrer 'Party' directed by Venkat Prabhu and is currently shooting 'Sumo' directed by Hosimin and cinematographed by Rajeev Menon.  The affable star has also written the script of the film which reunites him with his 'Vanakkam Chennai' costar Priya Anand.
