Wow! Another '2.0' on the cards

Director C.S. Amudhan made his debut with 'Thamizh Padam' the first spoof film in the history of Tamil cinema. The film released in the year 2010 turned out to be a huge hit apart from winning critical acclaim.
The director started working on another film titled as 'Rendavathu Padam' but that film has been in cold storage for years now.
Now Amudhan will be back with the sequel to 'Thamizh Padam'. This will be titled as 'Tamizh Padam 2.0'. Mirchi Siva who played the lead role in the first part will be the main lead in the sequel also. As the title suggests it will be an out and out spoof film. The title itself proves that as it carries the name of another mega budget Tamil sequel film that is currently under the making.
'Thamizh Padam 2.0' will be produced by Sashikanth of Y Not Studios banner whose recent production venture 'Vikram Vedha' has turned out to be a critically acclaimed super hit.
Amudhan has confirmed that the script is ready. The cast and crew of the film will be finalized and announced soon.
