If you are game for an entertainer loaded with comedy, songs, fights and other commercial elements and sit back and enjoy, 'Mirattal' can be your destination.

Directed by Madhesh, the film, which is inspired by Telugu movie 'Dhee', is a cocktail of everything one would expect from a masala flick. A cocktail of ingredients can be the right term for it.

The film tries to shed the 'chocolate boy' image of Vinay and attempts to portray the 'Unnale Unnale' man as a commercial hero. And what more? It banks heavily on Santhanam, a hope which gets fulfilled.

Shankar Dhadha (Prabhu) is one of the biggest dons in Chennai. His rival (Pradeep Rawat) wants to kill Shankar's only sister Deepika (Sharmila), to avenge the death of his son who was bumped off by Shankar.

Babloo (Vinay), a carefree youngster, joins as an employee in Shankar Dhadha's accounts department, which is headed by Chari (Santhanam). There he gets to know Deepika and the inevitable happens.

The rest is about how Babloo manages to win Shankar Dhadha's confidence and also saves Deepika from the biggest danger she is facing.

Vinay is good at comedy and in the company of Santhanam, he shines bright. Newcomer Sharmila does what is expected out of a regular heroine, the actress hails from the Kannada film industry.

Ganja Karuppu's tries to evoke laughter in vain. The show stealer, no prizes for guessing, is Santhanam. Watch out for Mansoor Ali Khan. Though he appears throughout the film, there is not even a single dialogue for him! Bosskey is also seen in the film.

Praveen Mani's 'Radio Radio...' is foot-tapping while 'Kallaparvai...' makes a good listen. D Kannan has captured foreign and Indian locales with ease.

'Mirattal' is one more offering from Madhesh's stable, catering to the entertainment appetite of the audience. `Mirattal' makes a good watch in any company.
