Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Hon'ble legistlator and Minister in the AP government, has said that the April 10 Sarrainodu event in Vizag should become a good beginning for making the city a centre for Tollywood film industry.

"Our government is making efforts to make Visakha a big tourist attraction and a stage for the Telugu film industry. It is encouraging the industry to shoot films here. Araku Valley and Lambasingi are among the great attractions here. The likes of Balakrishna, Ram Charan and Rajendra Prasad are keen to start film studios in Visakha. Even Film Development Society wants to start a studio here. We have allotted them 16 acres. A film institute under the aegis of Sathyanand is being planned," the Minister said.

The Sarrainodu event will be graced by Megastar Chiranjeevi, among others. Some political biggies are expected to attend the event, as the words of the Minister suggest.
