Actress Minissha Lamba, who is known for starring in films like 'Bheja Fry', 'Bachna Ae Haseeno', 'Kidnap' etc, recently talked about the significance of MeToo movement in a recent interview. Minissha was a contestant in season 8 of reality show 'Bigg Boss' and she was asked to comment on the latest season of the show which also featured MeToo accused filmmaker Sajid Khan.
According to a report in Hindustan Times, Minissha stated, "The Me Too movement is and has been so important in changing the conversation around the world about women. It was just a revolution that was on the brink that was waiting to happen. It just needed that one boiling point, that one catastrophe to change the world and that is what revolutions are all about. Regarding the creature (Sajid Khan) you are talking about, the less about the person the better.”
Further in the interview, the actress shared that originally wanted to be a journalist and looked back on why her acting career didn't flourish as much as it could've. Minissha said, "I did not have the kind of guidance which I needed at that time. I did everything on my own and when I look back, I am wiser. Definitely, if I had to do it again, I would have done certain things differently."
