Rajesh Pillai', the director of trendsetter 'Traffic, will start calling the shots for 'Mili'- his next in Malayalam today. Interestingly it took almost four years for the director to kick start his next film in Malayalam, after 'Traffic'... In the meantime he was enmeshed with plenty of projects which didn't really start. He just managed to create a Hindi version of 'Traffic' in the last year which has just completed the shooting.

'Mili' scripted by editor Mahesh Narayanan was one movie which was supposed to be the directorial launch of the accomplished editor. But later Mahesh decided to offer the scripts to Rajesh, his very old friend in business. Now featuring Amala Paul and Nivinpauly, the movie is planned as a soft feel good film. Kasthuri and Sanusha are also part of the cast of 'Mili' produced by Sathish of Ordinary films. Gopi Sundar and Shaan Rahman does the music for the film,while Anish lal does the camera.

Incidentally this will be the last film by Amala Paul before her impending marriage with director Vijay.
