This film had slept for a long time on the shelf waiting to see the day of its release. And now it is finally here. Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor starrer 'Milenge Milenge' which got on floors in 2004 is getting released in 2010.

Talking about the latest development over the film, the producer stated, “The principal shooting of the film is wrapped up and we are neck deep in post production. 5th March has been confirmed for release and we are finalising our marketing and promotional strategy.”

Directed by Satish Kaushik and produced by Boney Kapoor, the film will bring the ex-lovebirds back on screen. The music of 'Milenge Milenge' is done by Himesh Reshammiya.

The film had gone on floors at a time when Shahid and Kareena were a couple. Later the project was stalled due to several problems, among which was the actors’ break-up. And now as the film has confirmed its release, one can see both the actors coming together to promote the film. When asked about it the film’s hot beauty Bebo seems to have no qualms to meet her ex. “When I am willing to do films with him, why would I hesitate from the promotional perspective? There were reports some time back that I had said 'No' to shooting for a music video with him to promote 'Milenge Milenge'. Now someone has to tell me where did that come from? I am there for the makers whenever they call me,” retorted Kareena. The actress also said that their personal equation can't define their professional relationship.

Earlier speculations were strong that the film wouldn’t be released. But thanks to its makers the project had been kept alive. With Shahid-Kareena, ‘Jab We Met’ had created stupendous success… And now, let’s sit back and cross fingers for 'Milenge Milenge'.
