Punjabi singer Mika Singh granted bail

Renowned Bollywood and Punjabi singer Mika Singh, was granted bail by a court on Thursday. He was accused in an assault case that was filed by a doctor.
Sources say that, Metropolitan Magistrate Sujit Saurabh granted bail to Mika Singh after he appeared before him. He was asked to furnish a personal bond of Rs.20,000 and surety of a like amount. After that Mika took to twitter and said, "I am grateful to the Honbl'e court for granting me bail today. I am a law abiding citizen and always be one."
A private complaint was filed by a doctor for alleging that the singer slapped him during a live musical concert in Inderpuri area on April 2015. Mika was ater charged with voluntarily causing hurt and wrongful restraint, which he denied.
Singer Mika is known for his hit songs like, 'Sawan mein lag gaye aag', 'Mauja hi mauja', 'Dhanno', 'Dhinka chika', 'Main tere agal bagal hun'.
