Microsoft has reportedly told the Uttar Pradesh government that it is very much interested to set up a new campus in Greater Noida. While an MoU is yet to be signed between the government and the MNC, interesting details are emerging already.
As per an Economic Times report, the campus is going to be a sprawling one that will create 4,000 white-collar jobs. If true, Microsoft will have opened its second-biggest campus in India. Hyderabad, where 5,000 are employed, is the biggest one currently. In Bengaluru, about 2,000 are employed at Microsoft campus.
The Yogi Adityanath government has been wooing investors over the last one year. Expressways have been built to create the right business environment. TCS, Wipro and Haier are also planning to set up campuses in Greater Noida.
