Music composer Mickey J Meyer has been accused of plagiarism charges for the guitar strumming progressions of an English song Avicii - Wake Me Up for his upcoming movie Brahmotsavam. Ever since the teaser of Brahmotsavam released, Mickey has been blasted with a lot of allegations about copying the background score from the English song.

Mickey, who hardly responds on such cases, has cleared the air and elucidated that it was his own creation and he has no need to copy other's work or whatsoever.

"I got to know through my friends that people have been posting across social media that I have copied the music from an English song. Let me tell you that, I have used the guitar strumming which is almost similar to that of that song. There are numerous ways to play the guitar strings and both the songs had analogous strumming. Once the full track of Brahmotsavam was released, I am sure people won`t draw any parallels to it," expounds Mickey adding, "I don`t pay heed to the people who make such allegations because I know that it`s their personal opinion. But, I chose to respond because I have not copied and it`s my own composition."
