With the morale boost gained through a hat trick of victories, CSK Face arch rivals MI at the Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday night.

In contrast scenario, MI have won one match (Vs RCB by 6 runs, In a match which had a controversial climax which left both captains dissatisfied regarding umpiring . )In their first and third fixtures, MI had to endure heavy defeats, As Delhi capitals and Kings XI, Punjab won those matches convincingly with margins of 37 runs and 8 wickets, With 8 balls to spare, At Mumbai and Mohali respectively.

Having lost their first match at home, MI is in a situation to justify their presence sooner. With the match to be played against the Chennai super kings, A team which proves to be traditional and competitive rival to MI ,The voltage of the contest will naturally be spiced up .

With a lead in the Ratio of 14-12 in favour of MI (Including the matches played in Champions League T20.) and three IPL trophies to both teams, This match would prove to be a cracker.

Focusing on IPL alone, MI lead with a ratio of 13-11.

In IPL 2018, CSK emerged victorious with a victory by a one-wicket margin in Mumbai. MI defeated CSK comprehensively by an 8 wicket margin in the reverse fixture in CSK's secondary home ground, Pune.

CSK had made one change to their XI in the previous match by bringing in Mitchell Santner in place of Harbhajan.
