Metro
'Metro', an upcoming Tamil action thriller film is directed by Anandakrishnan. Bobby Simha, Shirish and Sendrayan play the important roles and the film is produced by E5 Entertainments and Metro Productions.
The film reportedly deals with chain snatching in a Metro city like Chennai, gold smuggling and underworld activiites.
After a below average film 'Aal' starring Vidharth in the lead, director Anandakrishnan has now come to prove himself through this fresh product. Music of the film is composed by Johan and lenses are handled by N.S. Uthaya Kumar.
The film was first denied the censor certificate allegedly for its portrayal of violence. However the team knocked the doors of the Revising Committee in Mumbai which cleared the film with A certificate.
Anandakrishnan has requested movie goers to not consider this film like a porn flick just because it has got an A certificate. The A certificate has been given as they have tried to capture the violent incidents connected to chain snatching activities and the underworld with a touch of reality.
'Metro' has been produced by Anandakrishnan along with his brother Jaya Krishnan and it will be hitting the screens on June 24, 2016.
