'Metro', the thriller-action-drama, directed by Ananda Krishnan, is a Tamil film being dubbed into Telugu. Presented by Suresh Kondeti, it's produced by Rajani Talluri of R4 Entertainments.

Rajani Talluri says, "The film is an exciting subject that suits the Telugu nativity. The visuals are fantastic. This is not only thrilling, but also an exciting movie. The film will be released on Dec 30."

Speaking about the movie, presenter Suresh Kondeti says, "We often read about chain snatchers in news. 'Metro' is about how a certain chain-snatcher affects a life. When his mother is killed in a chain-snatching incident, the son, a journalist, sets forth to investigate. In the process, he discovers that there is more to it than meets the eye."

Music is by Johan and the lyrics are by Sahithi, who has also written the dialogues.

On Dec 30, the film could most likely clash with 'Kanupapa', the dubbed version of Mohanlal's 'Oppam'.
