Mammootty, the megastar of Malluwood, has recently completed his 26 years in filmdom with a continuous 12 hits in a row. Mammootty, who is a meticulous planner, has recently declared in an interview that he has never planned his career. You can't plan anything in cinema, as it is not a 9 to 5 job, said Mammootty. But the industry says that he is one of those rare artistes who works out his strategies to perfection.

Mammootty's off-beat venture, the Kamal directed Karutha Pakshikal is due on November 17. This film is already being talked about due to its impressive promos.

36 days later, Mammootty has Blessy's 'Palunku' releasing for Christmas. In January 2007, he has Ranjit's experimental film 'Kaiyoppu' and by mid-march Shafi's mass comedy 'Mayavi' will get released. Amal Neeraj's 'Big B-The bodyguard,' scripted by Renjith, will follow suit in April.

Added to all these commitments, he has agreed to act in Hariharan's 'Thalakkal Chandu' and Shyam Prasad's 'Ore Pakal.' These are not all, films by Major Ravi, Johny Antony , Joshy, Fazil and KK Rajeev are on the pipeline too!

It definitely looks like Mammootty, the one man army, is planning his career and strategy with utmost care by working round the clock.
