The successful Malayalam film `Kabuliwallah' is now remade in Tamil as `Meesai Madhavan'. New face Ramana (who played the villain in Jore) along with Kutty Radhika (she debuted in Yerkai) play the lead. Producer Thankaraj (who played a cameo role in Sundara travels) along with Illavarasu play the comedian roles. The film is about the happenings that take place in a circus tent. Anandraj the circus troupe owner dotes on his only daughter Kutty Radhika. The only condition that he lays down is that she should not fall in love. Ramana a vagabond and orphan whose best friends are Thankaraj and Illavarasu both street beggars comes across Radhika in the tent. Radhika falls for Ramana. Anandaraj opposes the love affair but relents. At this juncture a new problem arises with Ramana's real parents coming up to claim their son.

In the original Vineeth played Ramana's role and Charmila did Radhika's role. The two vagabonds were Innocent and Jagathy. Captain Raju was the circus owner. Tasting success with `Sundara travels the remake of Malayalam film `Ee parakum Thalika ` Thankaraj points out that Sidiq- Lal's films remade in Tamil have all been hits. Friends and Engal Anna have been hits. I am confident of this film too being a box office hit. My comic part along with Illavarasu will be a great hit with the audience. The film has its serious moments too. Ramana refuses to part from Radhika though his parents want him to come with them. They take the help of the police. Radhika's father is jailed and the circus troupe told to shift. Despite many hardships Ramana refuses to give up his love for Radhika.

Manivannan, Rajiv, Pandu, Thiagu, Sabita Anand and Saranya play important roles. Cinematography by Ravisankar and music by Bharani the film is produced by Yuvasri creations.
