It's known that certain police welfare organizations recently raised objections to the title of a forthcoming Srikanth film. Objecting to the "derogatory" title of Mental Police, some of them filed a petition with the High Court, seeking a stay on the release of Mental Police. The HC, in the event, intervened and ordered a stay on its release.

Following the expression of similar objections from Censor Board members as well, the makers decided to drop the word Police from the title. So, the hero will be way too cracked and a cop in the film, but nobody should call him a cracked police. Mind it.

Directed by Karanam Babji, the film has Aksha playing the female lead's role. It will hit the screens on August 12.
