It was a complete show-stopper moment when Mel Gibson unexpectedly arrived at the Hollywood premiere of the George Miller's post-apocalyptic action film 'Mad Max: Fury Road' on Thursday.
Actor-director Mel Gibson, now 59 was the original Max Rockatansky FROM 1979-1985 when he starred in three 'Mad Max' movies. The actor had surprised everyone by attending the premiere and posed for photos on the red carpet beside the star of the film Tom Hardy and the director.
As of now, there is a speculation that 'Mad Max: Fury Road' will do an opening weekend business of $40 million-plus.
The film also has a stellar additional cast that includes Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Megan Gale.

'Mad Max: Fury Road' is ready to hit screens worldwide on May 15.
