'Meka Suri' Trailer: Macabre revenge after the end of a love story

The trailer of the ZEE5 original 'Meka Suri' is out. A crime thriller with loads of action scenes, this web series is coming from the stable of Simba Entertainment and 1725 Studio and stars theatre artistes Sumaya and Abhinay as the lead pair.
For the looks of it, debutant director Trinadh Velisala has relied on some time-tested tropes like revenge and love. When his lover girl is murdered, Suri, a butcher, joins hands with Naxals to avenge his personal tragedy.
The visuals are gritty and the background music makes for gripping drama. The male actors, with their unkempt hair and thick beard, lend a touch of realism.
Set to premiere on ZEE5 from July 31, the web series has music by Prajwal Krish of 'Saroja' (Kannada) fame, while cinematography is by Pardhu Saina.
