The trailer of the ZEE5 original ‘Meka Suri-2’ is out. A crime thriller, this is a sequel to ‘Meka Suri’, which started premiering in July. The web series is coming from the stable of Simba Entertainment and 1725 Studio and stars theatre artists Sumaya and Abhinay as the lead pair.
Directed by Trinadh Velisala, the sequel will premiere from November 27. “After Meka Suri continues with his revenge on killing the last man responsible for his wife’s death, he now has a bigger task on himself to serve justice to other women who’ve faced atrocities at the hands of men, by taking law into his own hands,” the makers say, giving a glimpse into what is going to unfold.
The first season was an engaging thriller, complete with its rawness and bloodshed.
The web series has music by Prajwal Krish of ‘Saroja’ (Kannada) fame, while cinematography is by Pardhu Saina.
