Mehreen Pirzada is mired in a controversy. A producer named Kushi has complained to her about Producers' Council.

A few months ago, the 'Kavacham' actress was signed up for a film opposite Sudheer Babu. When Sudheer called it quits, the project went to Mega hero Kalyaan Dhev. Director Puli Vasu now felt that Mehreen wouldn't be right opposite Kalyaan. So, he asked the producer to replace her.

After Mehreen was told that she won't be doing the film, the actress refused to return the advance fee paid to her. As reported by an English-language daily, the actress is not willing to do that because she had to miss two films because of the dates allotted for the Sudheer Babu film. The ball is now in Producers' Council's court.

Mehreen awaits the release of 'F2' during Sankranthi. She is paired up with Varun Tej in the Anil Ravipudi comedy.
