This south siren created a stir in the industry with her music video Kaliyon Ka Chaman. She was seen in films like Hawas, Classic Dance of Love and Mashooka. She kept away from the limelight for sometime. She is now back with Karan Razdan's film Eight. She is all set to set the screen on fire with her flick. She had taken a break as she was being offered roles similar to the ones she was doing. She learnt a lot from those roles but wanted better performance-oriented roles. She is now looking for good scripts.

In Eight she plays the character of the daughter of a rich businessman. She is an innocent girl next door. It's about the strange experiences of her life. She falls for a guy who later starts experiencing things like she did. It is the spirituality factor that attracted her to do the film. She also did the film as Karan Razdan had given her the first break. Meghna is also doing films down south. Her latest film down south is Sarvana by KS Ravi has just released.

Besides doing Telugu and Kannada films she has done a Bengali film with Mithun Chakraborthy. She played a deglamourised role. She is busy now doing her international dance shows.
