Meghana Raj who is familiar to Tamil audiences through her film 'Kadhal Solla Vandhein' is one of the most sought-after leading ladies in Malayalam, Kannada, and Telugu cinema. She got married to Kannada hero Chiranjeevi Sarja in 2018 after ten years of being in a romantic relationship.

Chiranjeevi Sarja unfortunately, passed away on June 7th due to a massive cardiac arrest leaving Meghana four months pregnant with their first child. On October 22nd Meghna gave birth to her son and has fondly given him the pet name Chintu. The little one's paternal uncle Dhruv Sarja gifted him a cradle worth rupees ten lakhs.

A couple of days back the cradle ceremony for little Chintu was conducted at Meghana's home in the presence of her parents actor Sundaraj and actress Pramila Joshai. Later speaking to pressmen the actress revealed that after some time she would be continuing to act as that is her passion.

Meghana stated "Acting is my passion. It is in my blood. My husband would have never wanted me to quit something I .love doing. I will continue to act in films as long as I am able to. I don't know if I am strong or not. Many say I am strong. But I think some incidents just make you go blank, we don't think anything. Now my strength is my son. Everything is for him hereafter".
