A royal author tells a TV networker that Meghan Markle is "horrified" by Prince Harry’s recent outreach to Princess Kate and Prince William because she has a strained relationship with them. Previous reports have indicated that Prince Harry has spoken to Prince William about possibly returning to the UK; Tom Bower says he thinks Meghan might be against it.

Bower shared his skepticism over Harry's return, saying he has made a complete fool of himself and there is concern that he might make things worse altogether if he comes back. Meghan isn't close to William and Kate, so the thought of returning to England with her son in a small flat in Kensington Palace may not be something she is too keen on, Bower said.

The couple faces a crisis of identity, purpose, and finances. Bower thinks they've run out of options and are at a dead end.

A source close to the Royal Family recently told PEOPLE that Meghan is 'furious' with Princess Kate. And a source close to Kate allegedly blames Meghan for their troubled relationship with Harry. Despite their legendary tension, King Charles remains the only senior member of the Royal Family in touch with Harry and Meghan.

As the rift continues, Meghan is angry with Kate for becoming involved in her marriage and believes she has no right to interfere between her and William. The situation continues to cause upset and frustration for both parties involved.
