The title of Megha Akash-Rahul Vijay duo's upcoming movie is borrowed from a classic song. Titled 'Maate Mantramu', the film has been directed by Abhimanyu Baddi.It was announced today on the occasion of Rahul Vijay's birthday.

If you thought the film is a feel-good or tragic romantic drama, you are mistaken. The makers today hinted that 'Maate Mantramu' is wacky entertainer that has romance as the main component.

Produced by Trippy Flix Studios and Kota Film Factory, its story has been written by A Sushanth Reddy. Producers Sushanth Reddy and Abhishek Kota have successfully wrapped up 90% of the production works. Shot in Hyderabad and Goa, the entertainer has 'Nata Kireeti' Rajendra Prasad in a special role.

'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' and 'Happy Birthday' comedian Vennela Kishore, Abhay Bethiganti, Viva Harsha, and Siri Hanumanth (recently seen in the AHA web series 'BFF' and last year in Bigg Boss Telugu) have other roles.

With music composed by Hari Gowra, the film is edited by Prawin Pudi. Art Direction is by KV Ramana and cinematography is by Manojh Reddy.
