Some sources from the film industry are saying that Megastar Mammootty is getting ready to direct a film. It is yet-t-be-confirmed by the actor. A few sources from the industry have revealed that he will direct a film in 2017 and initial works are going on.

He had in many stated that he has interest in directing a film and that will happen only if a good opportunity arises and if he comes across a right script. Mammottys upcoming film The Great Father` is directed by Haneef Adeni. Currently he is shooting for director Ranjith`s Puthen Panam`. He has also a handful of projects in his kitty in 2017.
