Megastar Mammootty, who is basking in the success of his recent release ‘CBI 5: The Brain’ , has signed a new project. Touted to be a thriller, the upcoming movie will be helmed by Dino Dennis, son of veteran scriptwriter Kaloor Dennis, who has penned several classic hits in Malayalam including ‘Koottinilam Kili’, ‘Prathijnja’, ‘Kodathy’, ‘Marupuram’, ‘Karthavyam’, ‘Aa Raathri’, and ‘Vayal’. The movie announcement was announced by production controller NM Badusha via his official social media handles. The film is said to be mounted on a huge scale, the upcoming movie will have Nimish Ravi behind the lens. Nimish is best known for his works in the films such as ‘Kurup’, and ‘Luca’. More details regarding the cast and crew of the project are expected to be announced soon by the makers soon.

Meanwhile, Mammootty's latest theatrical release ‘CBI 5: The Brain’ will reportedly start streaming on Netflix from June 12 onwards. Helmed by K Madhu, the investigative thriller also featured the actors Mukesh, Saikumar, Jagathy Sreekumar, Dileesh Pothan, and Ramesh Pisharody in significant roles. On the other hand, the veteran is teaming up with the ‘Kettiyolaanu Ente Maalakha’ fame Nissam Basheer for a thriller titled ‘Rorschach’. The movie's first look posters are already all over the internet.
