Megastar Chiranjeevi attends Dinner for Padma Vibhushan Recipients with Amit Shah

Chiranjeevi's recent accolade, receiving the Padma Vibhushan award, was a moment of pride not just for him but for his family as well. Attended by his wife Surekha, children Ram Charan and Sushmita, and daughter-in-law Upasana Konidela, the awards ceremony in Delhi was a family affair filled with joy and celebration. Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah added to the honor by hosting a dinner for the Padma awardees after the ceremony.

A candid moment between Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan captured the warmth of the occasion, as they were seen interacting with Minister Amit Shah. In a picture from the event, Chiranjeevi's smile radiates happiness as he shakes hands with Amit Shah, while Ram Charan looks on with pride.

A video of the Padma awardees chatting and enjoying the dinner at the minister’s residence has since gone viral on social media. Upasana, Ram, and Sushmita can be seen engaging in lively conversations and relishing the delicious food.

Upon his return to Hyderabad, Chiranjeevi expressed his gratitude to everyone who contributed to his success, from directors and co-stars to producers. He acknowledged the years of hard work that led to the recognition of his efforts with the Padma Vibhushan, stating, “Putting aside my philanthropic ventures, the people who love me got me here.”

When asked about the late actor-politician Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) and the ongoing call for a posthumous Bharat Ratna for him, Chiranjeevi echoed the sentiment, saying, “I also believe NTR deserves a Bharat Ratna, just like MGR (MG Ramachandran). I hope the government considers it, and I look forward to it becoming a reality.”

Currently, Chiranjeevi is busy with Mallidi Vassishta’s socio-fantasy film 'Vishwambhara,' where he stars alongside Trisha Krishnan. The film's shooting is underway, and it is scheduled to release for Sankranthi next year. Meanwhile, Ram Charan is occupied with Shankar’s 'Game Changer,' featuring Kiara Advani. He has also committed to projects helmed by Buchi Babu Sana and Sukumar, indicating an exciting lineup ahead for the talented actor.
