Trisha Krishnan, a name synonymous with success and talent, is making headlines once again! Following her blockbuster hit alongside Thalapathy Vijay in "Leo" last year, the acclaimed actress is gearing up for her much-anticipated venture, "Vishwambhara," where she shares the screen with the Megastar Chiranjeevi in the titular role. Building excitement around the project, Trisha recently took to her Instagram stories, sharing a snapshot of flower bouquets from her vanity van with the caption, "To new beginnings 4/2/2024."
The film, directed by Mallidi Vashishta and produced by UV Creations, commenced its shooting schedule in December. Trisha, who rejoined the latest schedule in Hyderabad, marks her return to Telugu cinema after a decade. While her Tamil films have found their way to Telugu audiences through dubbing, Trisha's last actual Telugu film was Nandamuri Balakrishna's "Lion," released in 2014. Throughout her illustrious career, she has graced the screen alongside stalwarts like Prabhas, Ravi Teja, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Mahesh Babu, and other eminent Telugu actors.
Adding a nostalgic touch to her Instagram post, Trisha incorporated the music of her super-hit song from the 2006 Telugu movie "Stalin," marking her initial collaboration with Chiranjeevi. This reunion comes after 18 long years, heightening the anticipation among her fans and movie enthusiasts.
The film also marks Chiranjeevi's first venture with UV Creations, owned by Ram Charan's close friend Vikram Reddy. With the musical genius MM Keeravani composing the music and the experienced cinematographer Chota K Naidu handling the camera, "Vishwambhara" is set to grace the screens on January 10, 2025. The recently released glimpse of the film has already raised expectations to new heights.
On the work front, Trisha continues her streak of impactful roles, following her stellar performance in "Leo." She has signed up for the Tamil film "Vidaa Muyarchi" alongside Ajith Kumar, and she's also part of Mohanlal's Malayalam film "Ram," directed by Jeethu Joseph. Additionally, Trisha is set to feature in Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam's eagerly awaited project, rumored to be titled "Thug Life," pending official confirmation. The actress's diverse roles and commitment to her craft continue to captivate audiences across different languages.
