The former Chief Minister of Telangana and BRS chief, K Chandrashekar Rao, was admitted to Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad after an unfortunate fall at his Erravalli farmhouse on Thursday, where he slipped in the bathroom, resulting in a fracture to his left hip bone. Widespread well-wishes for his prompt recovery flooded in, with actor Chiranjeevi conveying his deep concern through a message on social media.
Chiranjeevi expressed his sentiments on a platform, stating, “Deeply pained to learn about the injury suffered by Sri KCR garu! Wishing him a successful surgery and a very speedy recovery (Sic).”
Additionally, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy extended his inquiries about KCR's health by reaching out to former Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao on Friday.In the latest update, it was disclosed that on Friday, K Chandrashekar Rao underwent a comprehensive left hip replacement surgery. The procedure, performed by a proficient team of orthopaedic surgeons, was successful, and KCR's condition is currently reported as stable. Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his concern over the incident involving former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, expressing it through a post that stated, "Distressed to learn that former Telangana CM Shri KCR Garu has suffered an injury. I pray for his swift recovery and good health."
As per the health bulletin released on Friday, post-surgery care for KCR includes intravenous fluids, prophylactic antibiotics, and pain medication. The plan for ambulation, physiotherapy, and nutrition will be devised based on assessments on Saturday. The anticipated recovery timeline is six to eight weeks.
Former Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy paid a visit to Yashoda Hospital to personally inquire about the health of K Chandrashekar Rao, who is currently in recovery.In response to the directives from Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, the Secretary of the Health, Medical, and Family Welfare Department in Telangana also visited Yashoda Hospital to extend official inquiries into KCR's health condition.
